Installation Notes
Drilling is required to mount the speakers to the plates.
The plates themselves already have mounting holes for installation into the vehicle.
Some hardware is supplied with most speakers and can be used, but additional hardware will be required for proper installation.
For mounting the plates to the vehicle, we recommend using self-tapping sheet-metal roofing screws for a secure and straightforward install.
For mounting the 6x9 rear speakers, best results are achieved using:
Machine screws and nuts
Red threadlocker (Loctite) to prevent loosening from vibration
Trimming excess bolt length to achieve a flush, clean installation
